I do. My dad is the worst, and he has nothing to do but sit around and forward junk. About 75% of it is lying and hating on Obama. I don't know why he does it...it's a mental illness. Anyway, if you use Thunderbird like I do you can create a filter that will only download the offender's headers while grabbing anyone else's messages. Then you can delete most of those headers before the shit is downloaded.

I'm driving home yesterday, and I need to take a left turn to get onto the ramp to get on the highway. It's a major intersection, and I'm about the 40th car in line. And I notice there's a car stopped right in the middle of the intersection, so I figure it's broken down.

It takes me about 4 lights over 5 minutes to get up to the intersection. And just as I'm getting there 3 people run out to the car. The driver is slumped over his steering wheel,...

Did a jailhouse interview today for this part-time job I'm doing for a criminal defense lawyer. Young Latino, accused of attempted murder. He was giving me his alibi, which involved him being at a banger club I happened to be familiar with from former days. So I said, "oh yeah, over on 84th". He laughs and tells me that I'm "hip to the hop". So I've got street cred, so don't be dissin'.

Beats last year's total by 3. We knew we weren't going to get a lot so we made up massive treat bags - 2 bags of chips, about 6 mini chocolate bars, a dozen assorted tootsie rolls, and a handful of other crap.

Happened about 300 miles from here. Two coyotes mauled a woman. Only the second recorded death from coyotes in North America. The victim was choppered into the local trauma center where my wife works. I'll spare you the details. I've seen coyotes around here. Time to cull them. All of them.

I found out today I have a detached retina and need surgery soon. It happened when I was in Vietnam, but I didn't know what it was. Looks like Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday of next week. At least I'm getting first rate care here.
